I could compare the Tolivers to Jounior in the"Absolutly true diary of the part time Indian"
because Junior goes to a new school and he goes through a hard time. The Tolivers went to a new school and everyone is afraid of them because of rumors that goes on about them. People say they like to kill. For example, they were on a show on T.V. and they said they were talking about how people should be dead. They are also big guys taller than the kids at school.
Junior has a similar situation when he goes to a new school he sees a kid taller and tougher than him. Jounior thought he was going to get beat up by the guy, but instead he hurt the bully. I could compare him also to yolanda, when she stood up to the tolivers.

Title:Sara Palin

Fat questions
1. Why did John McCain choose Sarah Palin to be his running mate for republican vise president?
2.why did Sara Palin enter politics after her carrer in television sports reporter?
3.Why did she decide to be John MCcain's running mate for republican vice president?

Skinny questions
1.How did she become interested in politics?
2.How long has she has been running with MCcain.

RAFT:This land is your land

Question:
How does the information in the box ''A Day in the Life (of me!)'' help the reader understand the article?

The information box helps the reader understand the article because helps them know what goes on in her daily life and how long it takes her to certain things. For example; she build a log cabin made from trees that are sick or blown over, so she has a certain time to that because she has other chores to do.In the information box it says at 9:00 she cut down sick or dying trees into logs. So that was her time to build the cabin, so people will know she had other things going on.

Title:Strider
Author:Beverly Cleary
Dear Ms.Johns
I can infer that Leigh is getting tried of his mother treating him like a child, because in the book he says"I'm not dying.I'm old enough to stay alone. I'm not a baby, and I have Strider to keep me company."(p.84).He wants to prove that he has grown up and mature. I can predict that Leigh's mom will give him a chance and leave him home alone , then he'll make trouble and his mom won't trust him anymore.

Title:STRIDER
Author:Beverly Cleary

Dear Ms. Johns;

I can connect with Leigh because his dad does not live with him and his parents are divorsed. He spends time with his dad by going to work with him and calling him.I spend time with my dad by spending time with him after school and sometimes on the weekends.Strider is one of Leigh's best friend. But he's not a person he's a dog. That reminds me of Charlie my dog. He was like a best friend to me;he was fun and entertaining like Leigh's dog Strider. I can predict that Leigh will not spend a lot of time with him because he lots his job. His truck broke down and he had to deliver tomatoes. I think that Leigh's father is going to be spending time looking for a job.
