Themes in "To Kill a Mockingbird"

Some of the major themes in To Kill a Mockingbird is racism , because they are accusing Tom Robinson for something because he is a black man. Atticus is defending him because he believes everyone should be equal. Equality is also another major theme in "To Kill a Mockingbird." The author reveals the theme by letting us know how Atticus fells about the trial and Tom Robinson.
The lesson I think the characters will learn is how to be equal with each other and other people , and I think Jem and Scout will learn what equality is. What Harper Lee wants us to learn by the end of the book is to think about the humiliation and the hard work black people and other people had to go through. Also she want us learn that everyone should be equal no matter what race or color we are.

ELA test prep action plan

My goal for test prep is to get a level 4. To make sure I meet that goal I will practice on acuity which is helpful, and I will also go to advisory. The types of questions that are on the ELA exam are: character inference, vocabulary, for shadowing , ect. What I can do to improve the questions that are hard for me is to look back at the passage and reread.

To make sure I reach my goal I will practice doing acuity which is helpful, and come to advisory. The types of questions that will be at the ELA exam will be character inference, vocabulary, for shadowing questions, ect. What I can do to improve the questions that are hard for me is to look back at the passage and reread passage, and make inferences if I don't get it.

To my parents: What I learn in ELA

Dear mom and dad,
What I accomplished in ELA so far is how to wright along essay for the ELA test. What I also accomplished is to read and understand the book "To kill a Mocking bird." What I think I did good on is my essay about comparing someone else to Nelson Mandela. My favorite unit so far is "To kill a Mocking bird" unit, because we got to pretend to be a character from the book in a social web site called Ning. We learned about the great depression and Lawyer who defends a black person, and about the characters Scout and Jem.
My goals for the rest of the school year is to improve in my writing and reading. Reading and writing is important to your future because of you get a job there is going to be a time when you have to read and write. We used technology in ELA by using Google Docs and how to sent E-mails to the teachers. How to use power points with more knowledge.
